Anyone got a greasy start/stop button?!?!

Guys:
My start/stop button doesn't have that "matte" look anymore. Comparing to the other buttons, such as radio or window, for some reason the start/stop button surface seems to get wear out a lot faster.

Does anyone have the same problem? I mean stuff gets worn out but it just kinda bothers me to see a greasy button...

If you are under warranty, just get it replaced.

I never eat in my car (how dare you to assume?!?! :P) but its just like laptops keyboard, at least for 2011 model those matte dotted look just faded away after 1.5 yrs of ownership... I just compared with my wife's X3 and hers is 2 weeks old with a Clean matte start/stop button!

I'll check with the dealership the next time I bring my car in. I don't think they would replace the part but doesn't hurt to ask

Several years about I got BMW to replace a gearshift knob under warranty, it had air bubbles under it. Dealer actually offered to do it, I didn't even mention to him. But that was in '05 or '06, before profits hit the skids and dealers were watching every penny.

But you never know unless you ask.
