Securing harnesses when not on track?

How are you guys keeping your shoulder harnesses from flopping around and bashing up the seatbacks when driving around town? My seats have a glossy plastic on the back that is going to show every last flaw (stupid, I know):

Schroth and others advise against pinching or distorting the belts in any way, so that limits the options.

For what it's worth, the car is getting a BK harness bar and Schroth Profi II ASM 4-points installed soon.

I remove them. Mine are clip in which is very easy. I would remove them even if I wrapped them around harness bar. It's very easy to install them once you know the proper strap routing.

My lap belts are clip in, the shoulder belts are not.

The issue with my car will be getting easy access to the bar to remove and reinstall them. It's not exactly like I can just climb into the backseat or open the rear doors.

That doesn't look too difficult to me. Plus it appears the seats fold forward. Alternatively you can neatly wrap them (don't fold) and use a Velcro strap to hold in place.

You're saying just wrap them around the bar and then use a strap to hold in place? Clever.

The seats do fold forward, yeah, but just barely. The rear axle tunnel is about two inches behind them.

I tie shoulder straps back loosely with a 12" piece of orange paracord for the trip home.

The OEM "Competition" seats in my Corvette. They're made by Lear, the same company that does all of the Porsche seats.

Can you hook them against those things at the rear of the parcel shelf? But it'd be like having curtains in your rear view lol.
