The video was awesome, wish he would of told us his time round the ring with all those conditions though.

I agree with Epacy that the seating issue he talked about worried me some. He also gave the steering communication no credit at all.

For what it's worth, I have had my car since 28/10 - almost a month. Done nearly 700 miles. Thought I'd got the perfect seating position after a week or so. Then changed it again today. Will probably play with it again in the morning. I can't help but wonder if there really is a seat issue; height or otherwise??

This seems to be well established by now based on mag and member/owner reviews. However, it is also well established that the lack communication somehow does not seem to affect steering performance--meaning the car seems to steer the way you intend it to and goes where it is supposed to go.

As I mentioned in an earlier post it has been wet of late, yesterday morning I came across an E46 M3 and had a good run with it for about 3 miles or so just before a great roundabout.

The only way I could take him was to stay to the inside before taking the first exit so actually cutting his more direct path; assuming he was taking the same exit.

I didn't quite floor it but the back end flipped out. After a little opposite steering and slightly more throttle I got through before him. It must have looked great from the outside.

This experience allowed me to notice a couple of things.

1. The steering tightened up almost instantly and I didn't have one moment of uncertainty at all at anytime.

2. The car is fairly easy to correct with traction fully on; I went through very naturally and it felt really good.

The E46, funnily, was also in the wrong lane as in my mirrors (lol), I saw him go passed my exit - he may have just been going round again!!

It's possible that a person 6'+ tall is already use to riding higher up in a car, so they might not notice it as much.

Do you know if the sitting position range in the M3 different than the range in the 335--my only point of potential reference?

This Saturday will complete my first week of ownership and I an trying to come to grips with the seat. It's is unrealistically supportive and comfortable .. but may be too comfortable and supportive for a lot of people's liking including mine.

It is one hell of a car and rev so easily compared with the E46 M3. The car is big ... in fact longer than my E53 X5. There is so much room in the back it can easily sit two grown ups withoout a problem.

I've done 205 happy km to date and I am loving it.

Nope, but it's worth checking out, I think? Although, I drove it this morning and the seat felt perfect - maybe it's cause I de-shrunk overnight - there's something in it, maybe not much, but something.

I coming from a Z4M which has a park bench for a seat, so to be honest i am looking forward to a bit of comfort.
