Silverstone II last m-only color?

So I have never seen a non-m car wtih silverstone but no other color is exclusive to only the m3 or m in general. Is this the case or any other colors m only?

There are more.

From the BMW website about the M3:

Quote:
Interlagos Blue, Silverstone II, Melbourne Red and Jerez Black are reserved exclusively for M vehicles.
At least for interlagos blue, that is true, I once tried to get it via the "Individual" program on a 335i and was told to "get an M" instead. BMW M GmbH controls the individual program for non-M cars as well and any color that is not in the "individual" catalogue has to get approval from them.

For the X6M, they have added Monte Carlo Blue (also on an M3 edition), for the M5 also Indianapolis Red and Sepang Bronze as exclusive M colors.

Don't know about Frozen black and silver "Edition" colors and GTS fire orange.

I used to think that too
But Melbourne red is available on the Z4
So strike that out as an M only colour

Fire Orange is not exclusive, either. Someone posted a picture of an E93 335i in Germany about a year ago in FO.

BMW is really trying to cash in on the E9x series car. Why must they continue to reinvent the wheel. If they wanted to offer colors, all the individual colors should have been on the top of the list. The E9x was a great platform but it's time is coming to a close. Please don't cheapen it by offering useless options in the last year.......Phil

Special Edition 335i x-drive Canada only for 8 production weeks. Wonder how many were actually produced? No color is sacred to ///M...

Well good to know. Atleast there are some colors that are still pretty rare and my silverstone is one of them. I have never seen another m3 or any 3 series with the same color and I am in a very large city. Saw 1 M5 in the past couple years in SS2. So I guess if it is not exclusive to m, it atleast is not all that common!

Also, Melbourne Red is now the standard red for the new 3 series... I wasn't too happy about that. I liked that MR was a fairly rare color.

For the M3, yes, although Monte Carlo is still an M only color too (just doesn't happen to be available for the M3 currently, except via Individual). Of course there's now Estoril II for M Sport F20 and F30, and while it is not the same as Monte Carlo, it looks almost identical.

There may still be other M Exclusives for the F10 M5 or X5/X6 M though. I do know that the Valencia Orange from the 1M is not an M Exclusive anymore (its available on the F20 1 series).

I hate to break it to you SSII guys but even though SSII maybe exclusive to the M3, it really isnt exclusive at all since it is pretty much just plain Silver anyway.

I would guess that you have never seen SSII up close and personal. Plain silver.....now I've never heard that before. Most will ask what color blue is that....but plain silver ..............Phil
