New LeBron 9's
This weekend is the release for the new Nike LeBron Miami Vice Edition. Me and some of my buddies will be camping out in NYC in order to hopefully buy 2 pairs each. As of right now, I've seen prices as high as 650 but I would sell them for around 500, willing to negotiate. Anyways, for a chance to have these shoes, please pm or post with the size you would like and some way for me to contact you.

Haha! You're camping out for a general release?
These will be a little bit harder than the other LeBron Elites, but not that difficult by any means. These released in Europe & Asia already and many have sold for around $400 in order for people to get them early. Considering you and hundreds of others plan to flip your pair(s) come release day, don't expect much of a turn-around... It's 'Edition' by the way...

You mean Nike spent over 2 years developing the sole of this shoe and road tested it across the globe? Either my opinion of Nike just went up by a large margin, or no it is not the same reason some spend money on high end cars.

In my circle of friends alone, I know people who buy their cars on the same principle followed by those who buy these Nikes. |

Well, Nike does have a tremendous research and development budget and can be accredited with developing the first ever waffle sole. The brand is ubiquitous. Michael Jordan alone generated over $1 billion into the economy during is tenure. More since he retired and people still skip work for his kicks. I bet the scientist/engineers at Nike are just as educated and enthusiastic as those scientist/engineers at BMW. We all have our vices. Some cost $650. Some $70K.

Ditto! The word Fugly comes to mind as well. Each to his own I suppose...
