how many hours do you spend at the gym on average per day? i need at least 100 votes for my statistic project. thanks for the help guys, much appreciated.

Rephrase: take one day you go to the gym (any day) and tell me how many hours you are there for before leaving.

There are plenty of people who spend over 2 hours for a workout. I will occasionally if doing multiple activities, like lifting, swimming and playing tennis. I think the question is relevant

3 hours lifting per week at a physical gym. You need to be more specific.

What if I lift for 3 hours a week and play bball for 3 hours a week? What if I don't play bball at the "gym"?

What if I rock climb 1 hour a week, does that count? Are you just looking to see average usage a paid "gym membership?"

Plus, I imagine most ppl spend between 1 hour and 1.5 hours each time. Most nonprofessional athletes talk training in terms of hours/week not hours/day.

sry guys for the confusion. i edited op. it is average time per day at the gym. if you do basketball at the gym it is still gym time. anything outside the gym doesn't count. strictly time spent at the gym on average per day.

I think you meant per session not per day. If I do 3 days with 1 hour each, my per day rate is less than 1 hour per day.

6 days a week is about 3 hours including my half hour on the treadmill doing HIIT while saturday is just an hour of cardio/abs

I don't go to the gym per say, but I do have a weight room in my house and I workout 5 days a week for 45 minutes.

Voted. By the way, even the OP's rephrased wording is poor.. And, wouldn't it make more sense to have more options at the low end of the time scale? I typically spend 1 hour at the gym. There is no option to select 1 hour. At the same time, there ARE options to select 4, 4.5 or 5 hours. Oh well.
