thought Id share a cool pic...

So today my sister and I went to pick up my father from the airport. On the drive there, you can watch the planes fly parallel to the highway and approach the airport (which is always amazing to watch), so we thought we'd try to spot his plane by checking his flight status through FlightAware. Right as we took the exit to the airport, his plane, a Lufthansa 747, came out of fucking nowhere right above us. My sister managed to snap this shot as he flew above us...

Funny how it happened, what are the odds? It was perfect timing. We still have no idea how we didnt see it until that turn. We thought maybe the plane was right behind us the whole time lol. It was almost poetic lol

yea Im surprised how quickly she pulled out her iphone to take the shot. she took another one right after but it had already gone. amazing watching them land...the car was shaking from the sound. so awesome

that's a sick pic.. lol

there's a freeway (john wayne) for those who live in orange county, and all the planes that land fly literally perpendicular to the freeway right before touching down and more than once i've seen cars on the freeway all brake in front of me when the plane got close lol, pretty hilarious but i guess it's instinct

occasional-leisure-spotter at LAX...good times and i've seen twice go-around due to fog and crosswind...
Plus I always like the cafe-restaurant at IKEA Elizabeth that facing directly to EWR!!
