To figure out if you have split folding seats look in the trunk on the top and you will see two levers... If you do then pull either one and the seat should come loose

Fold Down Seats are Optional on the E90 M3

You have to order them as a stand alone option, or they are included in the cold weather package.

Was thinking the same when I saw the thread title. But, maybe OP doesn't really need the feature and is just curious. Or maybe he'll be lucky and have it after all.

Place your bets now.

I bet he doesn't have them, if he cant find the latch.

I admit to being a little disappointed that I had to order them on my E90.

...that, and the floor mats.

Could be, but then again its a bit counterintuitive for them to be in the trunk rather than in the cabin, so they are easy to miss.

Aye. On my E36 M3, they were inside, atop the rear shoulder belt anchor points.

Ill have to check, i bought the car used. I have never seen a car that was an "option" on, and if thats the case then im out of luck.

My car was a standard base model that was special ordered with certain options.

Thanks guys.
