LCI 'style' lights installed on my 08 e90 M3

Look pretty good, and fitment is like OEM. The LED light bar and the turn signals look great.

I picked these up and had the clear upper portions professionally tinted red for $60

http://www.ebay.com/itm/170984564244...84.m1439.l2649

They also sell black tinted tail lights through the same seller.

Figured this is a good option instead of spending $1500-$2k+ for a real LCI conversion.

There are also more expensive all red LCI style tail lights, but they cost around $600 shipped from Australia, while I spent $320 total on this setup.

If anyone wants more pics, I'm happy to post them

I was waiting to see this. Nicely done. The tinting looks like it was done right. This is a great looking upgrade to the stock lights that honestly make the car looks as outdated as a prefacelift E46 M3 from the back. For $320 you can't beat that!

Hey, nice job. I bought the same set but opted to paint the clear portion with VHT Niteshades (translucent red). Came out pretty good but there is that orange peel texture up close.

If you don't want to tint or paint, an e90post guy finally got a group buy done for the all red ones: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=811304

Yeah I thought about paint, but the texture on the lights does not look that good IMO.

I opted for my setup at $310 total versus $525 on the MARS lights group by.

They are both eagle eye brand tail lights, but when I asked the seller on ebay they couldn't get all-red ones through their current contacts in taiwan.

Agreed. If I had an M, I'd probably go the professional route too.

Dominic - I considered painting the stock tails too, but realized that with the Eagle Eyes, you not only get rid of the white inners, but the outers provide additional lci-style detail. The outers don't look as flat anymore, so to speak.

I have a set of the MARS lights. They look stupendous, check the group buy for these, my pics are there. Unfortunately, went with an LCI trunk and picked up a set of matching LCI tails, so mine are for sale at this point.

You could get the OEM ones. Dont waste money for a replica type. You just have to do some easy coding.
