the initial price of admission is reasonably cheap for a 360cs, it's the "add quarters to continue" cost that kills any budget minded buyer of this car.

Probably my 2nd favorite ferrari behind a F40. I agree that it should at least be an even race at worst. With 150ms shift times, I don't think the stradale would lose much during shifts. I'm guessing he was maybe in the wrong gear.

Really similar engine philosophies with the 360 and S65.

guy at my local track sometimes drives his f40 to the track then drives his other cars on the track.

I also think the 360 has aged better than the F430 for some reason (looks wise).
I agree. A 360 CS should be able to pull on a slightly modded M3. It's so much lighter and has slightly more power..I've driven one on a track for a few laps in Europe and it felt a lot faster than my M3. The engine noise is the best I've ever heard..better than the scuderia I drove a year ago at Exotics Racing in Vegas.
It should be a pretty even race with slight advantage to the 360 CS. We don't know in what condition the CS in the video was in and if it was pushed hard by the driver.

You jumped him hard all while he started in the wrong gear. This is totally, 100% obvious. I don't see how so many people missed that

The 360 doesn't even sound that great to be honest.

Sounds like my Civic SI with a S2 3'' exhaust when i would rev it to 8600RPM.

High pitched with some rasp and it even sounds similar to a VTEC crossover at a given rpm in regards to the 360 power band.

I am sure most will think that is some kind of Troll comment but after doing a lot of comparing they are very close.

Looks go to the 360 hands down though.

I guess engine/exhaust sound is a matter of personal preference. After I heard it in person I was sold. Same goes for any modern ferrari - 355, 360, 430 with Capristo exhaust..they sound like an F1 car. Again, it all depends on what you like.
One thing is for sure though. 360 CS exhaust sounds nothing like a Civic..

I was a passenger in a CS at Summit Point and was expecting it to be significantly faster than my M3. I was surprised to see similar speeds at the end of the main straight or even less...

But like others have said, the feel & feedback, the noise, the brakes (!!!) etc. were absolutely fabulous. Speed was irrelevant. It was just a fire breathing living thing with a huge heart. I would love to own one, heck I'd probably move closer to a track...

A Civic Si?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GartNu6mK7s

Or, maybe he meant more like the Honda HSV.

You can of course lift off the throttle for smoother shifts, but aggressive full throttle shifts is something I actually like about the single clutch transmissions.

But lol at the civic with a fart can sounding like a stradale.

Figures you guys would laugh.

The K20Z3 revs to 8600rpm with hondata and was awarded one of the best motors in the world several times.

Any motor that revs that high tends to have a similar pitch depending on the exhaust. This 360 has a very similar sound to a K20Z3 with a str8 pipe and no resonators.

There is nothing terrible exotic sounding about this 360.

A F430 or 458 Italia well that's a diff story.

The problem is the B series civic's that where riced out gave Civic owners a bad name. The K series blown is no joke and demands respect but that's a totally different conversation.

It all comes down to personally preference just like how i think a E46 sounds raspy and non exotic at all where a E92 sounds incredible.

A STI sounds more exotic then this car.

Ok, that's it; I tried.

Are you high? Can you just stfu please? There isn't a Civic on the PLANET that sounds like a Ferrari 8 cylinder motor with a flat plane crankshaft.

lol nice try
