Who went 11\'s on motor in their E92?

I remember reading someone that went 11\'s on motor. I know it\'s almost impossible but that\'s why that\'s my goal. As of now, I have a full Akrapovic Evo system, drop in green filter from AA, flash from AA, and pulley from AA. I doubt this is enough huh? What else can I do? I want to speak to that member that achieved 11\'s on motor. Any help will be appreciated!!!

Took me a few moments to figure out what you meant...lolol

Why drive in a straight line, you've got Homestead Speedway just around the corner!

Miami has a lot of flat straight lines. Most of the time, you will be driving on them.

Yup, it was him. I don't think I have what it takes then just yet. I have thee AA green drop in filter. I might need a full intake with some kind of scoops or ram air to get more air into the motor. I haven't ran it just yet, but I'm thinking I'm probably somewhere in the 12's, just don't know where.

I plan on tracking it to at homestead but I want to do both. I've been running quarter mile my whole driving life in other cars so I like it. I know the M3 isn't in it's element in the quarter mile but I still think it's fun.

I did go to Homestead with my friend Enrique in his AA supercharged e92 and had a blast riding shotgun, but it's honestly kind of scary because so much can happen. I saw three cars wreck that day, but it was their track cars so it didn't bother them as much as if I would wreck mine. This is my DD/Baby. So much more can happen in 20 minutes going around a track with a bunch of other cars than in a straight line for 12 seconds (hopefully 11) at a time.

Flame suit on. Call me a chick. I WILL track it at Homestead eventually but I just got the car. Let me get more comfortable with it first.

100+ octane, remove the rear seat, remove the passenger seat.... drag radials or slicks... wait for good air, which shouldn't be a problem now that it's October

will not happen with street tires. DR's and DCT, YES. 6mt....will be tough! FI is no problem in 11's even on street tires.

It is not being a chick or anything. Track driving is relatively safe if you're running with a good club. Sure, not as safe as a 12sec drag race, but than you're putting a lot of stress to your M3, which is not designed as a drag racer...

Well I guess that's the key word, driving. Not drag racing on the streets
