Every person in my office who does not wear an undershirt always shows armpit perspiration. To me, that is WAY more of a fashion faux pas than wearing an undershirt.

Absolutely agreed. Not to mention the accelerated wearing out of the dress shirts.

Agreed. I am surprised at the varied opinions on t shirt versus no t shirt with a dress shirt. I can't fathom wearing a dress shirt without one and, in Florida's heat, visible sweat on the shirt. Thats just bad.....

Maybe I will give the Hanes a try. I do want a slim cut one though so hopefully they have that.

Just go Hugo Boss. Grown men don't wear UA unless it involves working out or sports.

I was a Handes guy but I've recently went to Jockey simply because it seems a slightly better quality V that doesn't get deformed after a few washes.

To all those looking for a nice step up in comfort and quality, check out VKNagrani. Vivek has based his company out of NY, started off making stylish OTC dress socks and later expanded to underwear/shirts. I wear them exclusively.

On whim I tried a 2(X)ist Pima cotton deep V because I like thier tank shirts. That is now my undershirt of choice if one is required and I bought a supply. My neck is 18.5" so most V neck shirts aren't really a V on me.

To give you some perspective, my closest size off the rack would be a 48R with the jacket tailored to fit a 35" waist.

This is the brand i ended up going with, slim cut, deep v. It also has an extra long hem to help keep it tucked in better.

$38 for a 3 pack. So far I like it.

Hanes and Jockey V necks are deep. Jockey is a little nicer. Also, I buy tank top undershirts for fall and spring, and they hide even better undress shirt.

I tried Hanes & Jockey and they would shrink all to hell. Then I'd try to stretch them back and they were so thin they'd tear. Tried CK and they were good quality and didn't shrink. Bought a couple dozen.

Hanes and CK are garbage and turn to cart board after a couple washes.

Pick up some American Apparel "Track Tee" V necks from Amazon. It's the track tee or the tri blend, same shirt. They have a deep V, are super soft, almost slim fit. If you have any amount of muscle on your body they make you look extra jacked. Best shirt, I have about 30 of them and it's all I wear daily.

But not under a dress shirt. You should never ever wear anything under a dress shirt. Unless you're 45+ years old and you sell insurance.

Check out Uniqlo for some undershirts. They will probably be the best undershirts you've ever worn.

Their airism shirts are made for warmer weather and their heattech shirts are made for colder weather.

You'll be pleasantly surprised. ;]

If you're wearing a properly fitted dress shirt with no undershirt around LA, I'm pretty sure you have massive pit stains.

"Bro, what do I look like, an insurance salesman???"

Haha no way brotha!

Go to Amazon and get your self some Certain Dry. You apply it once a week and no more sweat. If you wear an undershirt that's exactly what happens! You start to heat up and the undershirt soaks it up and then you're really sweaty Betty. Lol
