2011.5 e90 m3 front turn signal bulbs...stealth replacement?

are the front turn signal bulbs for the e90 m3 the same as the e92/93 (PY24W)

if so, has anyone gone with the OEM bulb swap suggested in this post:

http://www.m3post.com/forums/showpos...7&postcount=11

(PN: 63217161306)

to get rid of the "egg yolk" look

looking for a stealth bulb replacement (yes I have searched, all threads ended up to be dead ends or non specific to the 2011.5 e90)

can anyone at least confirm if the 2011.5 e90 M3 front turn signal bulb is still a PY24W bulb?

Aesthetically, the headlights for e9x M3 have not changed since SOP - only minor electronics.

Correct - bulbs are no different in M3 applications. Non-Ms received a LCI update just recently.

Just went and looked at my car....Why would BMW not install these stealth bulbs in our car's from factory???...... I am going to order a set now.

They are pretty pricey for $23.00 a pop though

yes they are pricey, you could always do what some suggest and get some silver paint (high temp resistant) and coat the existing bulbs yourself...

I decided to just get a new set of OEM bulbs...paid 30 inc taxes...funny how every dealership around here only stocked 1..so I had to go to 2 different dealerships......now I just need my car...

and apologies for making you notice your current amber bulbs

why not use high temp silver spray paint

I did this to my bulbs the first month I got my car (march 2008) ..the bulbs still light up and when they're off you don't see any orange.

looking at the box they came in you have the PN# correct but its PSY24W and as always they are expensive for a pair of bulbs.
