you cant paint your original taillights to become "blacklines" its not just a tint. the upper portion of the outer lens is actually clear and is darkened from the inside. if you search for pics, you'll know what i mean. tinted taillights and blacklines arent the same thing.

doesnt mean tinted taillights arent good... i had blacked out taillights myself but i am just saying they are different so you have to know what look you want.

For some reason when I see them on a white E90's, they don't really look smoked at all. You couldn't get a lighter smoke color. Plus they are BMW factory parts, so you can't go wrong.

Really they are not dark at all. They couldn't look any cleaner, except for the bad fitment of the Vorsteiner trunk.

To the OP. Just buy them. They are rather inexpensive. $275/shipped from Tischer BMW.

You mean like this? Looks ok, but not OEM like the blacklines.

Can you guys recommend a place to purchase 09+ E90 M3 Blackline taillights?
I did a quick search through some popular BMW vendors and I'm not getting anything.
Thanks.

No LCI available just yet (or ever?). What's interesting is BMWUSA tells me "No 09' LCI-blacklines are available outside Europe." I can't find a THING about them anywhere - I'd have to bet its not true.

Scroll to the bottom to see the set for the E90. I might pick up a set for my E92.
