Turn 10 - Looking for BMW's in LA Area
Hello everyone,
This is Landin Williams from Turn 10 Studios, creators of Forza Motorsport 2 for the Xbox 360. I've been talking with some of the folks on this board regarding our game, but wanted to reach out to those of you in California. Turn 10 is putting together an event in LA, and we're looking for some enthusiasts/Forza 2 players who would be willing to show off their cars. I can't give any specific details at the moment, but for anyone who is a fan of Forza or just racing games in general, this will be a great event. If anyone is interested and lives in the LA area feel free to send me an e-mail at v-lanwil@microsoft.com. I'll be checking this thread for replies, but e-mail is the best way to reach me. Thanks! Landin |

Props to TURN 10 for being the best racing simulation developer ever! Wish I could attend, as I'm sure this will be a great event for somebody to probably get their car used for the development of the next big release from TURN 10. I would say you Cali folks are lucky, but 7 figures isn't enough for me to want to live out there

Definitely not only M3's. I wasn't sure if any non M# owners lurk around here or not, but I'll try those other forums you mentioned.
Glad to see there are some Forza 2 players in here As for the event I really can't give any details on an open forum. Right now I'm trying to see if there is enough interest for this to happen, and so far so good! Do any of you know friends in LA with sick rides? Could be any make and model as long as it's tuned. Thanks for the positive feedback |

sound like it can be a huge event... i'd suggest posting this around the bmw community. other forums to consider would be m3forum and e46fanatics.
LA has a HUGE tuning community, just all depends on which kind of cars you want to have show up. :P

Also the Mfest and Bimmerfest forum, Pure Euro's good, etc etc.
Finding a nice, clean, modified ride? Harder than finding "just" a modified ride (i.e. rice.) I'm sure you'll find plenty of support no matter what though, although being specific about what you're looking for can help. For some people, clean cars that will be at Bimmerfest are awesome modified cars, and for some people, explosively unique vehicles at Hot Import Nights are awesome modified cars. "Sick ride" might be a little too broad for people to respond easily to. My ride is stock. I think it's a sick ride....right?...RIGHT?....RIGHT?!?!...... |
