Invited to Drive the M3: Oct 1-4 2007

Received a UPS envelope from BMW today. It contained an invitation to "an ultimate driver's dream come true" . . . "three days of M3 immersion" at the Nurburgring Oct 1 - Oct 4.

Included:

:rocks: Two days of driving the new M3 on the GP course and its facilities, including lead-follow laps, car control, skidpad, and vehicle dynamics exercises.

:rocks: Visit the Nurburgring Experience Museum and go-kart race.

:rocks: Behind-the-scenes tours of the Grand Prix track and BMW's Nurburgring test facility, and M3 technology workshops.

:rocks: Hot lap the famous Nordschleife. :rocks: :rocks:

Accomodations: Three overnight stays in a single-occupancy room at the Nurburgring Dorint Hotel, including all meals and soft drinks.

Ground transportation from the major international airports to the Nurburgring.

Airfare is not included.

Cost: $5,500 per person.

I think I save the money for the down payment. It is almost 10 grand if you add all the expenses.

ILC... congratulations to you. that's huge. did you win this through the contetst bmw had posted on their page? if so, i'm curious why the date has changed from sep 19th to October 1st.

I thought the event in September was free (airfare not included). I have a feeling this October event is a different deal.

How do you get that? You only have to pay for the airfare, and it's not $4500.
