mid wax maintenance?

it seems the only time my jetblack ride looks good is when i do a full detail, otherwise, I feel like there are always scratches on it.

any tips on mid detail cleaning? anyone having luck with just applying polish?

thanks!

Don't you know how terrible JB paint is?

You can always polish it - it will not hurt the paint. Just apply protection afterwards.

My advice: Get a light colored car.

^ +1 lol.

In the mean-time, use good shampoo, microfiber towels, a good wash technique (two bucket with grit guards), and apply a good quick detailer after washes to keep a slick finish. It's harder for dirt and grime to stick to slick paint, so it'll make it easier to clean in the mean-time.

Jet Black looked awesome on my e46. I now have two coats of carnuba on my Jerez Black and all I do is use a quick detailer after every NON-TOUCH wash. I buffed out the majority of swirls with a light polish and sealer before waxing. You can find swirls if you look hard enough, but my paint looks liquid from 99.9 percent of angle and light conditions.

My 335 was JB. Nothing looks as good when fully detailed. Nothing is more of a pain in the ass though.
