Soooo you want full retail value from someone, to the dollar? No incentives? Other than less wait time, why would i buy from you and not go straight to HRE?

I'm trying to help you...you obviously want to sell them b/c you listed them here. I'm simply saying, offer a small incentive off of retail otherwise i don't see why anyone would do this? Myself included...

And no...if someone is paying you the deposit and then HRE the balance, they're buying them from you.

OK, so something doesnt add up from a pure math perspective. $5475 is MSRP...

You said "The price shipped is $4,280.00. At this time I've paid 50% deposit of $2,080.00. If you want the wheels, you pay me my deposit of $2,080.00, and then I'll transfer the contract to your name. Then, when the wheels are ready, you pay $2,200.00 to the store, and HRE ships the wheels directly to your address."

So either the "MSRP" is BS...or the cost remaining is BS. Because $5475 less $2080 doesn't equal $2200.

I think what everyone is saying is that there needs to be some incentive. I'm sure with some hookups or if you talked with lon, anyone could get these wheels for roughly the same price you have listed. Without having to deal with a middle man. Unfortunately, you changed your mind. And there are consequences. Definitely it would be awesome to walk away from an incorrect choice without losing anything but that is rarely the case. The vultures on this forum, myself included, are looking for good deals and opportunities. If say you decided to take $1900 for the deposit there might be more interest as opposed to criticism.

To clarify, normal sales through HRE directly is at full MSRP.

I'm assuming he purchased through an authorized HRE dealer. In this case, the transaction is completely handled through the authorized dealer and not through HRE.

I have a contract with NYC to buy the Brooklyn Bridge. The bridge has an MSRP of $1,000,000. I have a 50% deposit on the bridge of $500,000. If you pay me the $500,000 I have on deposit with NYC I will transfer the contract to you. When the bridge is ready for delivery you pay NYC the remaining balance.

P.S. I'll pick up the shipping costs.

Why did you order 8.5et24 and 9.5et23? Odd widths and offsets for wheels typically used on the track.

Are you positive going wider will result in a change in rolling Dia? There are a lot of wider tires that work on the e9x M3 with a rolling Dia that is only off by 1-2% (which is within the tolerance of a new vs worn tire). Also, the change in weight will not be significant - for example, using GTS tire widths (not Dia), if you switched from PS2 245/40 and 265/40 to PSS 255/40 and 285/35 the increase in weight is only 1 lb/tire.

I'd be interested in these if they were a more commonly used track setup (9.5/10 or 10 square) considering these are wheels designed for the track.

Also, based on Lon's post anyone that buys these will not be buying them directly from HRE so who are they buying them from, if not you?

Yes, this thread doesn't pass the "common sense" test

The OP did more than just change the price...he also edited all of his previous posts discussing the old price so they all now say just "bump" and he altered the "email" from HRE containing the original price. I think it's time to report this thread to the mods.
