Push Button to Change Exhaust Sound

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
Guys -

I'm looking for an exhaust that allows for me to keep the tamed conservative quiet stock sound of a stock E92 M3 80% of the time and yet be able to at the push a button let it be known the monster is alive 20% of the time...

I've explored and found many exhaust capable of delivering the loud deep sound I'm looking for, however I live in Arlington, VA where police have been known to stalk performance car drivers once you've gotten their attention.. So I would like to remain very low key in VA and let the monster out when not in my home state. Also I simply don't want all that attention all the time.. only when I want it at the push of a button..

So what I'm asking for is:
1. An exhaust that can be stock quiet
2. Able to get monstrously sexy loud at the push of a button
3. Will pass emissions and not void my BMW warranty.

Any recommendations you can give would be greatly appreciated..

Thanks

Dunno abt the void warranty thing, but I think u need to check with your dealer abt tht. But the exhaust ur looking for is the kreissiegg which costs like 10k. If you're looking for something within the 4-5k range, get the akrapovic as it's subtle when u need it to be and roaring when u step on it. 2-3k eisenmann ftw

or you get cutouts on your stock exhaust (or aftermarket for that matter)...
it will most likely not pass visual inspection though depending on your state law, but that's exactly what you're looking for otherwise - let the beast roar at the push of a button...

Yea.. Innotech valved exhaust or the more affordable cutout option is looking very appealing right about now..
