Yup!

Race teams have long embraced the philosophy of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it", so the adaption of these springs have been slow, I think.

One potential issue for cars that use struts (like ours) is that the carbon springs have a larger OD vs traditional springs, and this could potentially reduce tire/strut clearance.

Wow crazy stuff. I didn't know carbon fiber could be compressed like that without it snapping.

You know what we need? A mesh screen that snaps into the pass side duct for DCT cars to protect the DCT cooler from debris. My cooler is looking pretty beat up. Just need for something substantial to nail that cooler and bust it open.

Yea, i was looking at those hypercoil springs last year. theyre on the order of 90-120$/CF ring. It adds up to quite a bit all around if you were to set your car up for it..

Even if it fits (i.e. it clicks into the seat belt receptacle), Schroth does not recommend it. The reason is that each harness is individually designed and crash tested, and sometimes even the smallest difference could be life and death in a crash

The carbon springs - at the current design and price point - only make sense for a race team which needs a wide range of spring rates. It is designed to be modular like Legos so that you can have all kinds of spring rates with the same kit.

Yeah I know thats why it takes them so long to release these. I can only imagine how much time & investment is involved for the testing of these kits on each model vehicle. If the current trend follows I'm sure they will have the F30 kit available...in 6-7 years
