Looking for opinions on the attached CPO car. Dealer won't go below 53. Says that cars are going for 45-48 at auction. Opinions needed and welcomed.

Options are dct, zcp, cold weather, premium pkg, hi fi sound, and technology.

Previous owner obviously tracked the car as their was harness still installed when I test drove it.

Seems a little high to me, but what are comparable ones going for on autotrader or other sites?

Non CPO 2011 going from 45-50. CPO going from 47-55. This car is at the top. It's the closest unfortunately.

I'm also in the market and I'm seeing 2011's going for 42-50k non CPO. They won't go below 53k wow, that is the higher end for sure.

It is. Typical dealer CPO bs. We got the car at auction. We are gonna lose money by cpo'ing it. I just hear excuses. Anyone know what they are going for at auction or galves value?

What was MSRP? Btw, CPO adds $3k to price. Here's one on here with less miles with similar options asking $54,900. http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=954056

Just picked up similar spec one owner silverstone for 39k with 50k on the clock. Granted I had to fly to Houston and ship it back to ny. Dealers around the tristate really marking these cars up.

Recent auction results for 2011 E90 M3. Looks like the ones near your mileage are going for high 30s to low 40s at auction. Cheers.

I am in the market for a Blue 2011 Sedan, and just emailed that dealer (I am in Chicago). Thank you for the information about tracking the car - they are asking $54,900, and that is the highest for a 2011 CPO anywhere in the country from the last search. I think that I will pass if I knew that the previous owner tracked it and they are asking that much....

Looks like I will have to move on or wait.

It was a nice car but after a lot of negotiating they gave me the best and final of 52,000. I'm gonna wait until the new m3 start rolling into showrooms and hopefully grab a nice 2011 in the mid 40's. The dealers in Long Island act like they have a 911 gt3 rs for sale. It's awesome when they offer you galves on your trade but won't match a kbb or nada price.

And if you dig deeper the car failed emissions numerous times. Car def had an aftermarket exhaust at some point. The stupid SA tried to tell me m3 fail emissions often because they run rich from the factory. My wife grabbed me and we walked out.

I had numerous aftermarket exhausts on my 08 and it never failed. Probably a good car to stay the heck away from!

Side note not to move the thread but my wife found a 2011 isf with 15k miles for 42k. Might have to check it out.

I've heard. Dct is the biz! I just need to find a tristate car from a dealer preferrably. One that doesn't think the car is made of platinum.

That interlagos blue is beautiful.

Le mans blue is also the business.

To the OP, i would keep looking. Don't settle for something you don't want, especially if certain things hint at future issues (i.e., fail smog, previous track time).
