Potenza RE-11 Closeout on Tirerack.com

The RE-11's are on a closeout sale at Tire Rack since the RE-11A's are arriving soon. Ben @ Tire Rack says the difference between the 11 and 11A's will be minimal.

For 220M wheels, 245/35/19: $148 ea (normally $313), 265/35/19: $297 ea (normally $339)

Thought you guys may be interested since there's been a lot of positive chatter regarding these tires. I too switched to RE-11's after having the horrible OEM Conti's for 10k miles. It drastically improved the handling and steering feedback. These will be my second set.

Thanks.

Limited sizing on the 11As, but some sizes are actually cheaper than the older re-11

Thanks for the heads up! I had a set of these 245 squared on my STi and it was the best tire I used on the Nurburgring! It literally cut my lap time down by a solid 30 seconds. I would really like to see these perform on the M.

I switched to the RE11s when my PS2s wore out. I have 26k miles on them now. They have been really good tires. Good grip on wet roads. I have been getting some road noise over the last 7k but it isnt real bad. I have been pleased with them, especially given I only got 16k out of the PS2s.
