well, one bonus, higher ISO means bigger files sizes again so you're going to have to start shooting regularly above 1600 ISO and brighter colours mean bigger files too, so keep your +EV going

one of the biggest detractors from sharpness is the layers of crap they put on top of the sensors to get the ISO up, I'm hoping they've refined this process a lot for this camera and the quality wins out. but time will tell...

I kind of wish they didn't worry so much about video capabilities and put the technowlogy more into the abilities of the camera for shooting, after all it's a "camera" I know that will piss some of the video folks off, but that's why there's 2 different markets. And i'm half wondering if the reason for the smaller sensor is due to the abilities of the video side of things taking away from the stills side.

don't forget the dynamic range is also very important, and should be much-improved with the 1D X.

I'm with you about the priority of video. I'd like to see them really focus on that in one body, like the 5D Mk??, where they made their name in video. On the pro bodies they can throw the video in since they've got the technology readily at hand, but don't let it impact decisions such as noise vs. detail, etc.

True and that's a big factor on the plus side for this camera, assuming it shows up in the test images at www.DPReview.com

one of the local reps here in Atlanta most likely.
still waiting to see what's coming this week. ugh - it better not be targeted at the Sony F3 or I'm going to shoot someone.

haha, I got about 8 minutes in, then realized it was 38 minutes long, I'll finish it later when I have some more free time

That being said, it makes the 5DIII look somewhat promising
