'09 Coupe awaiting transport!!!!

My '09 M3 Coupe is awaiting transport!!!! Yaaaay!!!!! That was freaking quick for a week 36 production vehicle. I have the last 7 of my VIN. How do I get the complete VIN to track?

Thanks, but I wanted to track it once it got on the tanker. I think we need the entire VIN to do that. I'll just call my CA and ask them. I'm sure we'll get on the same tanker. Can't wait!!!

Easy! Call BMW (800-831-1117) on Monday morning (I think they open at 8am EST), give them your Production number, they will give you the full VIN

Why would you need the whole thing for that?

If it is being transported on the Wallenius line then he'll need the whole VIN to see when it's been loaded on a ship.

sweet! that is quick for week 36. mine is being delivered in germany (not ED, but military sales) and i am waiting for confirmation that the build is complete.

That appears to be the case, to bad the same doesn't apply to the rest of the process.

Yeah, I just came to find out that my car left the plant today and should take 2-3 days to get to the port of exit.

The next month is going to take forever!

my car is at the dealer already. week 36 production. my CA told me yesterday that it arrived unexpectedly. i couldn't believe it. he is taking pics today and i should have them up by tomorrow.

Congrats, the nurburgring, the autobahn, and no wait time after production.... i think i need to move there.

Enjoy your car, you are probably going to be 1st M3post member with an 09. Mine is on its way to the port of exit so another month or so before i get it.

DId you get the tech package, please post some pics of the new idrive to finally put the debate to rest as to when the 09's get the new idrive. I already know it does but there a few that still need some proof.

Gadget...i just started a new thread with pics of my 2009 m3. It arrived to the dealer yesterday. Yes, I got the tech package, and I posted some pics of the new iDrive...THE DEBATE IS OVER!
