I personally prefer the 335i but you can't go wrong with either car...

You live in NYC, you'd probably benefit from all weather traction. Not to mention, the new kickass diff should make it fun to drive. I say move on and try out the Audi to see what it's like. It should be good.

+1. Take the leap and try out an Audi. Do a test drive of the new S4 and see what you think

S4 is supposed to be pretty impressive and the stability of the Quattro in the winter can't hurt. Plus the interior of the S4 is much nicer.

Both are good cars but I'm wondering if you meant 335xi instead of the rwd model. If so then both are equally good in adverse weathers, but only the Audi is truly what you would call sporty, it's the only one available with adaptive suspension, a dual clutch gearbox and the all important LSD that allows the attitude of the car to be tailored by the throttle.

It will unfortunately work out the more expensive but it will be the better car and will be tunable by US tuners very soon at a reasonable price, which will place it's performance squarely in the realms of both the RS4 and M3.

All I can do is recommend a test drive in both, but you really need to drive the S4 with both DSG and Sportsdiff to fully appreciate what it's capable of and keep an open mind if you use to driving primarily BMWs because they do have a different feel and flavour that takes time to get use to.

Yes4! I had one for 6 years. It was the best car I ever had. I was sad to see it go.

Poor man - this so easily backfires. Just watch, your wife will be in the S4.

i sat in a new S4, black with a maroon and black interrior, it is so much nicer then a M3 and 335i for that matter inside, and the outside is more agressive,

i just couldnt buy one cause im RS4 fan at heart, but the new S4 is one of the sexiest cars with the leather

you do know the E92 comes in an all-wheel drive option, right?

335xi.

S4 > 3-Series/M in terms of interior. Looks so much more modern...

they're both pretty average in interior styling.
