1st. GT-R
2nd NSX 3rd LF-A The reason Lexus is at the bottom is because of their current direction. However, they did suprise me with the LF-A concept and the LF-A is supposed to be V10 powered, so I still have hope for it.

Wow........a V-6 over V-10s......in the poll
Is it because the GT-R has real numbers to back it up........ The NSX and LF-A's next mission: GT-R

Its because the GTR has a brutally effective AWD system and couple that with the amazing powertrain and you got 1 hard act to beat no matter how lightweight or well engineered the other 2 RWD road-going competitors will be.
And in the event the LF-A and NSX actually beat that Ring time, then they will still have to contend with the upcoming full boat Spec-V model.

Of course what the NSX and LF-A give up in outright pace/lap time, they might gain in immeasurable driver enjoyment and feel. Reviews have pointed out the GTR's rather clinical feel despite its prodigious performance (something I'm inclined to believe).

Yeah it's purely because of the GT-R having figures to back it up. I have already mentioned above, I have great hope for the LF-A but I'm not ready to bet on it yet. I really hope it is as amazing as I want it to be. It certainly has the looks.

Hard vote...
I have the utmost respect for the GTR, and I was tempted to vote that way. I am ridiculously biased to Honda so I wanted to vote NSX ... but betting against Toyota? No way. The king of all the toyotas shall be mighty indeed.

I asked that very question on another thread.
I seriously don't know the answer to this, if the NSX is solely rwd then I reckon the GTR will rule at the ring but lose out to it on a more normal race tracks which have a better surfaces. But if the NSX has awd then I reckon it could possibly wipe the floor with the GTR on every track and every surface as I reckon it will weigh a lot less and still produce similar amount of power. Personally I don't see the LA-F in the running which probably means that it will prove me wrong and be quickest of all. |
