Springtime in ///Metak's Hood!
Ok, so the hills behind my house were looking just beautiful so decided to take a few pictures.
There is something you will either love or hate in this photo. Can you find it?

I like this picture because it really shows how nice the stock trunklid can look without the lip spoiler. This is totally subjective of course.

Of course I can find it: it's the "V8" right under the gill/grill!
I was out your way today--but unfortunate it was to see the vet. (No worries, all the animals are okay.) |

I guess that's one for the HATE column already. lol I guess I got tired of people asking me "hey does that thing got a V6?" not straight six...V6! Anyways, it's on both sides of the car and it's the OEM logo off our engines. It was painstaking placed it what I think is the optimal location.

Just my .02, take it or leave it, I don't like it. Who care's if people know its a V8. Anyone who is gonna respect the car for what it is, is going to know its a V8. It just makes it look like your trying to hard. The car in general, looks great!! The shot is nice and springtime in "your hood" provides a great background.

BMW, Mercedes, Ferrari etc. all have various emblems indicating the type/size of the engine, eg. 3.0si, 4.6, 3.0, V10, V12.... I was just having some fun with the logo with my friends and it's something that will not stay on the car permanently. You said you didn't like it, so move on.

I can't believe you guys give him shit for the V8 badge. If it was a 335 and he had it, then I understand. It's really not that bad since he actually HAS a V8 under the hood. BTW I'm putting a V12 badge on the side of my car just to piss you guys off.

Get some HFC and Xpipe then they wont ask what engine it is.
The badge doesnt bother me, reminds me of how the Audi S4 has it on the side. Great scenery though!

It's kinda a joke with a couple friends of mine but I really don't think anyone has done this. One friend almost pissed his pants laughing, but later admitted "damn it, it's growing on me!"

Love the Dinan 'springs', nice stance without SLAMMING the car!
These set of photos are not my best work but I figured someone might still enjoy them...here's another one. I think something is getting lost in the compression though.
For those interested, I am using an Olympus E-300 Evolt(12MP)SLR with a 18-180mm, 1:3.5-6.3 Olympus Lens.

The thing that makes it not look as good is the side gills. It seems too busy. If you could maybe replace the ///M on the side gills with the V8(of course you'd need a smaller badge) it will look much cleaner. Just my opinion.
