Brake Force Display Lights
Is there a way (other than having someone follow) to check to see if the brake force display lights work on a E92? On this model, these would be extra brakelights located on the trunklid that light up when the brakes are hit very hard while moving.
Just thought there must be some way to check if they work when car is stopped. |

Get a European Rear Fog Light Switch to activate your rear fog lights..... If you don't know what "rear fog lights" are...... then use the search function. Once you get the switch you can activate subject lights with a push of a button.

This can be tested on an autologic with a component test.

Tom,
I guess I should of had you check them when you coded the new taillights to my car. Oh well, no big deal. Also when I was looking at the new lights before installation into the trunk lid, it looked like the BFD bulb wasn't LED. Looked like a halogen bulb. Did you ever notice that? |

I can see it now at track events,"Hey Joey, why the hell does that idiot keep turning on his hazards everytime he brakes hard in the corners?"

Its a weird thing...you only get it with "panic" braking rather than heavy braking...last time was a woman pulling out of her drive into my path, I slammed on the brakes, she saw me so I carried on, then I had a what the hell moment as I looked down to see the hazard lights on.
