Thanks man, it's all in good fun as I love and respect anything fast. I've had a hard on for a z06 for idk how long now but when I was finally able to afford one it was just so unpractical (I was driving all over the country and I needed to be able to pretty much pack my life up in the back of the car and the Vette just didn't have the room and wasn't able to seat more than two) but lord knows I still want to get one. It's hard to go wrong with a small block check, ESP a small block 427!

My equity was wire transfered friday...after the holidays I start looking again...
Love that there are some diehard M fans here. I loved my ESS M, but it was time to move on to something a little less family friendly, lol. If there was ONE perfect car, we would all own it and nothing else would exist. Cheap interior? Ill take performance over that any day. |

I had an 03 viper with 500whp 510tq...The performance is fun but at some point you grow tired of the lack of luxury around you. Maybe not so much lack of luxury, more like you grow tired of cheap creeky, rattling plastic. I know the z06 interior is slightly different, 08+ atleast have some faux CF trim I suppose, coupled with the Nav its better too |

It will be a purely fun car. No DD, just come for fun, maybe short trips, who knows. You know what, if I hate it, no big deal, just sell it and chalk it up as lesson learned.

You dont buy a sports or track car for the interior. If its functional and comfortable, thats all that really matters. I dont buy a pure sports car expecting a bentley interior. Besides, the interiors can be easily updated. Check out Caravaggio corvettes.

I considered a z06 as well. However i just didn't think i could deal with it as a daily driver. Would be a monster at the track though, my friend has one and it's a beast. Amazing the amount of power and grip the car has.... Amazes me every time i ride with him. I decided to get more a DD friendly car and get the slightly lesser beast, a 2013 m3.

Take it to the track (road course), and it'll be like your first time on the car all over again. You'll remember what it can do.

Those interiors are gorgeous...
My shopping is put on hold..still waiting on the wire transfer from those clowns at Toy Barn Cars. Funny, my bank girl tells me its instant. I'm being told it was sent friday and maybe its delayed bc of the holidays...bullshit. I dont like being fucked around. Looks like I may have to write up a little review in the "vendors" section just to let others know of my dealings with them |

Just got back from a trip to Laguna seca with the wife. Trunk was surprisingly big enough to fit 2 luggage, 2 helmets, 2 chairs, and a 10x10 quick shade. All the while I averaged 25mpg with an avg mph of 85. It was quite comfortable except my bum was numb after 5 hours of driving, note I'm coming from a loaded e63 m6!
My track experience was amazing. And only further confirmed I made the right choice. The handling was great, the feedback was excellent, and the chassis was soooo neutral! I was a bit nervous about driving such a high hp beast on a track I've never driven and in the rain, but all my fears were put aside after the first session However, I can relate and see how I can quickly tire of this car if I didn't track. On the streets, it feels really wide, and steering feels like nothing special. Having said that, if I only had one car the m3 would be in my garage. Out of my past cars, z4m, boss302, 997.1,m6, I can honestly say I have the largest smile when driving my z06 ;0) of course actions speak louder than words and if you see that I still own this car after 6 month then you know I stand by my review.
