Prestige Films, Ventureshield, and Avery can be used to cover the hood entirely on the M3s.

are these the films that you guys use?? Like the OP, I'm thinking about investing in a clear bra also and am semi-local to you (about 1.5 hour away, lol).

What's the difference with all these clear bra's that everyone has mentioned?

I haven't noticed much of a difference at all except maybe build quality. But even then it's minimal.

Prestige is actually a Japanese product whereas Avery is made in the USA. Both have been around for quite some time. Quality wise, we prefer Prestige.

Do you have any photos? Yes, water does evaporate so it does take some time to dry out. Depending on weather, it can take up to 2 weeks for the film to fully dry out. However, because "bubbles" is such a generic term, we cannot say definitively unless we see a few pictures.

I have my concerns about the protective films because of my AW car and some people claiming that they have yellowing... Of course others don't seem to have a yellowing problem at all (yet) and some say that if you "take care of the car and film" then you won't have any yellowing at all.

Still a concern for me... Plus, the price tag, I need another paycheck to come in right now, haha...

Anyway, I wouldn't do it at all on the hood unless you can get the FULL hood done ,a line 1/3rd of the way up will just look stupid. I suppose that if you do happen to experience yellowing down the road, you can get it removed.
