Fastest 0-100km per hour I did was 3.14s in a stock Turbo S using its launch control. Everything just blurs. I have a hard time imagining 2s. (Pardon me for 0-62mph)

Is there a cool GTR forum?
Try http://www.gtrlife.com/nagtroc.html -- very cool site with lots of owners and a very active forum.

theres a point where you simply cant get faster. Theres a formula to get the best 0-60 number, and adding more power is not the always the answer. in fact i bet you add more power you could hurt the 0-60 number.

Wow that car is crazy. I thought about buying a GTR at one point but I just can't get past the looks. Not the car for me in that respect but holy crap do they perform, both on paper and on the track. Would love to see a gtr vs z06 battle it out for best bang for the buck track monster.

+1 on the looks. GT-R still looks "cheap" to me for some reason. Reminds me of a matchbox car. However the performance is legendary. Top Gear tested the current generation with 545 or so HP and it went around their track in 1:17.8, beating all manner of Porsches, Ferraris, think it even topped the MP4-12C (or if not it was very close). Price/Performance, GT-R is a clear winner in almost every case.

If they offered a M4 AWD then people could make there own decision, they'd sell like hotcakes.
Are the best handling cars in the world AWD or RWD?

I don't think this will be easily replicated on the street. Plenty of cars have the power to do 0-60 in 2 seconds. Getting that power to the ground is always the problem. I don't know where they are finding all this extra traction...

If "we" can put a man on the moon then we can engineer a car to go to 60-MPH in 2.0 seconds lol.

10-years ago, I thought cracking 4 seconds was stupid fast

On a side note, I think if Nissan perfects their launch control/AWD system, adds more power, and perhaps an electric propulsion system since that is all torque, it could get there.

GTR owners are bad enough and now there will be no stopping them. Luckily the few I met had more money then track skills...but lets just keep laughing at the "cheap" looking interiors!

Maybe you misunderstood. I like the GTR but the owners are always dicks and act like they are so much better and now it's going to be worse with a bunch of guys who can't drive them being even more annoying then usual.
