I am selling my 2008 alpine white E90 that has the certified warranty for 6years/100,000 miles. The car has every single option with the exception of the rear sunshade and DCT. It currently has 23,000 miles on it and is completely stock. Never raced or smoked in. The interior is black with carbon trim. $46,000 for quick sale. You can see pics, detail list of options, and carfax in the following link. Thanks for looking.

.....the damn link doesnt work. Go to cars.com and search for '08 M3 near 40204 zip. Here are a couple pics anyway.

Thanks for the heads-up. I just edited my ad last night to lower the price, and they put it on a hold until they review the change. It says it should be up by the end of the day

If the dealer is really offering you $45k for it, then you should go that route. $1k isn't worth the hassle of dealing with a bunch of tire-kickers and worrying about the payment check being legitimate.

Not sure yet. I was looking at the '11 GT. Problem is the new job i took has me commuting 100miles/day. I want something fun, but might have to settle for something boring that gets good mpg. Not sure what i'm gonna do yet.

I know. Its not worth it for an extra grand, but then im not stuck with the inventory from one dealer. A private sale will let me have the cash to go any route i choose, even though it is a much bigger PIA than a dealer trade. If it moves quick at $46 it wont be too bad

Damn, that is one hell of a deal. I am not really in the market, but if it was DCT I would have to give it serious thought at that price.

You guys can split the $1k.

$45.5k... seems like a winner for both of you.

also, if no one has said it yet, you dont pay the sales tax on the trade... at least thats how it works here in jersey. 45k of trade is worth ~$3000 in tax savings

Wait .. the seller has to pay the tax? I thought the buyer will have to pay the tax when he registers it ... at least that is what it is here in CA.

What he means is that in NJ, you pay sales tax on the difference between the new car and the trade-in. For example, if your trade-in is worth $9k, and the new car is $10k, you pay sales tax on $1k (i.e. $10k-$9k).

In California, you pay sales tax on the entire amount of the new car regardless of the trade-in.

The NJ law favors buying cars from dealerships because of the tax savings.
