Question Brake warranty voided on an M3 on eBay?

Here is the car. Is anyone familiar with the car or the owner? That seems odd that BMW would void the warranty due to lines/different fluid? Can anyone comment?

"The dealer and BMW have voided the brake warranty after I installed stainless steel brake lines and Motul brake fluid. These components have been removed and will be included in the sale. As per the dealer there's no problems with the brake system. All other BMW ultimate service warranty remains for 4 years/50,000 mile full maintenance program. Front end has 3M clear bra."

Thanks!

They just don't like him at the dealer I bet. I have done many upgrades and the dealer doesn't care at all. Then again I buy a new car every year from them and two this past year.

I think it depends on your advisor. Some are dicks about any upgrades, others are more reasonable.

it's all about maintaining good relationships with the people that count (SA's, techs, etc.)

exactly I did an exhaust upgrade and my SA has no problems with it. He even complimented me on it and made sure to re-assure me that it did nothing to endanger my warrenty when I put it in for my 1200 mile service.
