SC Performance delivery
Hi All,
Brand new to forum. Just wanted to share my amazing story from a few weeks ago with SC performance delivery and my proposal story during the delivery. Here is a little background. I had the e46 m3 for about 3yrs and I was starting to look into buying a used e92 m3 but kept on hesitating bc I didn't find exactly what I was looking for. I ended going to Rallye BMW to look at a used one they had but in talking to sales rep and going over numbers it made much more sense to order a new one. So that's where the story begins. I place my order and told sales rep I wanted either euro or performance delivery. We started going over the pros/cons and the performance delivery sounded like much more fun for the then girlfriend and myself. So now the wait. That tracking tool is great but it really makes you more anxious after checking over and over again. About 4 weeks pasted and I got the call from the sales rep to start picking some dates that worked for us. Once that was hashed out - we were off. The team at the performance center are hands down the best I have had the pleasure to deal with. From working with me on setting up the proposal to the attention to detail in all aspects of the delivery. I am sold - any other bmw I get it will be performance delivery. Here is the break down of that day: 1 ) Instructor intro - about 15-20 mins including some powerpoint slides 2 ) M3 Track time - braking, handling, and traction control (335) - best part for me. Made me realize i'm not as good as a driver as I thought. There is always m school. ;-) 3 ) Instructor hot lap with M3 - 2nd best part - Donnie was pretty awesome 4 ) Museum - it was nice to see some classics and they had a pretty decent collection 5 ) X5 off roading - I always liked the X5 but after doing off road courses with it - I got a whole new level of appreciation for it 6 ) Lunch 7 ) Vehicle delivery - This is the main event. I had already talked to my product specialist before hand to handle the logistics. She was to take the ring from me earlier in the day and had the ring hiding in center console. Here are the pics: |

Congrats on both the car and the engagement. I took delivery of my white E92 M3 ZCP in that exact bay on May 23rd. Actually, my product specialist (don't remember her name?!) mentioned your engagement story. Well done my friend, enjoy in good health!

A. Congrats!
B. Next time, do both. The ED/PCD combo is the only one of its kind out there. There is no con to either, esp. since you live on the East Coast!
