Gloss, matte, or CF grilles on Space Gray?

I have a Space Gray M3 on order, and want to do black kidney grilles.

Just trying to decide if gloss black, matte black, or carbon fiber will look better. I also plan on doing the OEM CF Spoiler.

Are the other black accent trim pieces on the car gloss or matte?

Set this thread up as a poll, but I obviously think gloss black looks best. I have some carbon fiber accessories as well, but I think its a little too much for the grills.

I'd get the edition grill/gil set, totally matches the glossy cf splitters/spoiler. Also look into the cf mirror caps. I had all of these on at one time or another on my SG e92. These will add a little aggressive/sporty look and retain the classiness. Here's a pic of mine showing edition set plus cf mirror caps.

Thanks for the info. Sorry I'm sure this is a dumb question, I keep hearing about these "edition" grilles, but... What edition? Like an anniversary edition or something?

Plus I don't see these edition ones listed on any parts sites. All I see are the OEM gloss black, and then aftermarket ones in other colors.

I personally would do matte, matches the lower grill of the bumper.

Edition grills and gills all the way. Get those and your painted reflectors from IND.

I've see matte grills and over time they just look like cheap plastic.

I painted that gloss black too. Can't tell too much of a difference until you park next to an M3 that's a couple years old.

Get the gloss black or edition black chrome.

The matte looks cheap when the sun hits it. Although it does match my window and mirror trim on my vert..

I have the Edition version, I prefer gloss. Is there a major price difference between all 3? I would think matte should be significantly cheaper...anyone can make it matte..

OEM Gloss = Edition.

In 2009 BMW released a M3 in Europe called BMW M3 Edition or something to that effect, and that car came with all the gloss black parts.

+1

I had the matte, and flipped it out to edition. Much better and looks meaner overall.
