how long before my first engine mod

really itchin for exhaust and a tune. how many should I put on my car before I do this? Can the dealer know I tuned the car? pros and cons of tuning?

I'd say wait until at least 1200 miles until you do any performance mods.

Yep, wait 'till after the break-in period.

Take your time on the research, and don't rush your decision. I say that because I see many, many individuals who change their mods afterwards.

When you're ready, start off with a rear exhaust.

Wait until after the 1200mi mark.

Macht Schnell filter and spacers are good first mods, tune will gain some extra ponies as well.

As others have said, choose your tuning carefully and be absolutely sure that your car works as designed before you start tuning.

This said, I don't expect problems with the S65. My car has 10k km on it and throws a DCT code. It is still untuned. I can start tuning once everything is sorted out and works flawless stock.

i mod mine at around 4000KM, and now the car is 13k, perfectly fine!!!

but i will wait for the break in, at least, and you can enjoy it as well,

I'd say get to know your car well then do engine mods.
Exhaust, filter, RPi scoops, then the tune.
