Tires
I have done the search and everything is for 19's only. What is the widest tire on the stock OEM 18's I can go for the front and rear? Are the factory sizes the best? I figure BMW did numerous test for the sizes they pick. I though wouldn't mind going wider for aesthetic and performance purposes if it doesn't have any negative traits.
255/40-18 -front 275/35/18 rears Thats what I am thinking. Does it sound right? Thanks for the help.

Based on the official wheel width specs with the only difference between a 19 and 18 is the diameter, you should be able to use 255/275 just fine.

exactly.. i was thinking of doing the same thing with a set of OE 18's
255 front and 275 rear. you can see the PS2 in 245 and 265 are a little rounded on the sidewalls so you could prob fit a bigger tire. |

I can confirm that 255/35 and 275/35 fit. I am running those sizes in Toyo R888's for track and autocross.
