First dry day at The Ridge Motorsports Park
Finally got a dry day in my E90! I'm very impressed with a mostly stock setup an mostly street tires, and The Ridge is a blast.
With the RE-11's I had no issues with the stock brakes (Pagid pads). Although the rear RS7s have a strange chunking wear pattern which I'm having analyzed. I went with those in the rear based on a recommendation from Turner, but I'm thinking matching RS19's would have faired better. Also, after waiting for the "improved" GC camber plates, one bolt sheared off after the first session I drove the rest of the days sans one bolt... Here are a couple laps with a couple of E36 M3's. |

Ah, yes. The Ridge track has lots of fast lines. The trick is finding one of them that works the whole way around...
Are you there on Friday this week? |

Forgot to mention that the RE-11 265/40's on the 18x10” ARC-8 wheels rub a bit in the front when turning. The rubbing is on the back fender liner. It doesn't seem like enough worry about, but they do rub. Otherwise, the setup felt great. I normally run Nitto NT-01s at the track, but the RE-11's are not too far off with respect to grip.

Nice track...looks like a really technical track and one for learning a lot in a single lap. Looks like you were trying a few different things there...good stuff!
So you're running 265x4 with camber plates? You seem to get a good amount of mid corner under steer?

Nice driving!
I was there for the first time on Friday and had a total blast. The track got dry for a couple of sessions and I think I got a few good laps. Will try to post videos shortly. Can't wait to head back on May 11th!
