I don't know what the upgrade software number is but since last Friday my M-DCT is performing a whole lot better in everyway.

Delay is barely noticeable, D-mode shifts as even smooter than before and S3/4/5 the surge seems to be felt more than before.

Ask your dealers if they know of any upgrades pending.

Count me in. The first 3 test drives I did with the 6 speed manual. And I loved every single moment. Then my intuition started thinking and reading up on M DCT, I weighed the pros and cons! Then it was time my car was within days of being built. I contacted my SA and asked him if he had any available M DCT to test drive. He asked why I told him I was interested in changing my order. He told me they had one available at the Ramstein location. But he also said if I wanted to change my order it had to be today? I rolled the dice and said go ahead change the order I'll test drive it tomorrow. I got confirmation that my change was approved. The day I test drove wow! Smooth and fast. I especially liked d mode while puttingaround in traffic! On the autobahn this thing downshifts like an f1 car no problem wanna blow by someone just start pulling on the left paddle it gets you in the best gear with ease slamm the accelerator and all objects in the rear view get small in a hurry. When your on these small twisty roads in Germany and rolling with 400+ hp you need both hands on the wheel especialy approaching corners at speed and need to down shift rapidly! Highly recommend this option if you like to track your car and use it in city traffic. +1 for M DCT
