My new SG E92 Coupé - Thank you all for your help!
Hello,
I just want to introduce myself, because I never posted here before. My name is Jochen (German name), but "Joe" is ok for me, because I am pretty sure no one of you can remember Jochen. I am from Germany and work as an IT-manager in a large food corporation. The main reason I want to post this is to thank you all very very much, because I used this forum in the last month so much to get an idea of the options and the color of the car. So again, thank you all for posting those nice pictures of your rides. After just 8 weeks of waiting I got it on last Saturday. I am still very exited, because I never imagine that I can have so a nice ride in my garage! ATM it has run 400 Kilometers and I am in the ugly phase of running-in the car which means in the first 2000 Kilometers I can only rev to 5500rpm and drive just 170 km/h which is really terrible for me. Sorry in advance for my bad english and the strange translation of the option-names, but I do not fully know all of the english names of some options. But enough with the introduction, here it is: M3 Coupé (E92) Space-Grey Metallic Extended Leather, black 6-Speed manual Transmission The standards of a M3 are well known, so I will just list the options here: • M Drive • Competition Package (19“ Style 359 rims, refined EDC, 10 mm lower) • Anti-theft alarm system • Park Distance Control (rear and front) • Power folding auto dimming mirrors • Comfort Access keyless entry • Carbon Leather interior trim • Sunproof front window (Translation! LOL! ) • Adaptive curve light • Light Package • Navigation System Professional • Harmann Kardon Soundsystem • M Drivers Package • Connectivity Packet • iPod and USB adapter • Automatic high beams • USB Audio Interface • Shadowline • Universal garage-door opener So, finally the pictures (click to open the large versions): Here is a shot in front of my home. The E91 is my wifes "family touring"... I hope you like the car as I do it, I think it was the second best decision in my life to buy this car (best was to mary my wife )... Greetings from Germany! Congrats, Joe!
SG is a very classy color on this car and I would have gone for it myself if all my other past 3 BMWs were not all SG!! The wife said no more! LOL.... I went with MR this time and loving it too! |

Thank you all!!
IB, MR are great colors, but I don't see it with MY M3...I ordered the car in the beginning in AW, then changed to SG as I take beside the consideration that it is boring to have two SG cars in the family. But such thoughts are stupid I think, after the shot in front of my house I am really sure about that... Last edited by itf joegun; 08-02-2010 at 11:46 PM.. |

Congrats, beautiful car. I still have about 7 weeks to wait until I pick mine up in Munich. I am also dreading the break in period, but at least then I will have the car. Enjoy yourself, and maybe one day I will see you on the Autobahn.

Das ist eine shoner farbe, und super touring auto. As you can see my Deutsche is slowing failing me too after 8 years in Germany. Aber du bist viel gluckish, have lots of fun in your new M.....I had fun with my ///M in Germany and of course got pulled over twice by Polizei because I didn't want to put the plate on the front of the car.
But going top speed is so much fun, and I know you'll enjoy it much.....just don't bring the frau oder she'll yell at you. Lol good luck and enjoy!!
