Just checked my trunk and the NAV DVD cover only has the p/n (ends in 677). Punched it on Tischer's website and said '2009.1'. Nice. My car has a build date of 6/08, so obviously dealer chose a new disk at time of delivery (5/15/09). And still doesn't have my street, which was developed a few years ago. Good day.

That's Torrent file. Use torrent software and you'll need DVD-R to burn.

You need a torrent client. Download and install uTorrent. It works like Napster and Limewire client if you are familiar with those clients. The file you downloaded is a 43 KB torrent file. So once you have uTorrent installed, open the 43 KB torrent file from uTorrent and it will start downloading the large ISO file.

Once the ISO is on your hard drive, you need a program that can burn ISO's to a DVD-R. Nero is one such program. But if you have a Mac, then Disk Utility (which comes with all Macs) can burn ISO as well.

Seeking help

New to this board and found great information so far. So seeking assistance with the 2009 Nav torrent download provided in this post. I am moving from Germany back to the United States, and would like to have this disk before I drive from Georgia to Texas. I have tried to DL the torrent, but at a 4kb DL it will take about 10 days. Anyone out there that would have another suggestion for this download?

Thanks in advance for any and all help.

That's pretty slow downloading speeds. There's nothing you can do. Except try using a different internet connection. I know you don't want to, but try waiting until you get to Georgia to download?

Hello! New here..

I know this is the wrong section but when I looked up my car, which is a 2003 530i it came up with this dvd update for the nav.

Now is this true? haha Because so far I followed everything in this thread and when I put the disc in it says "wrong disc please install correct disc" or something along those lines.

Any help would be great. Right now I have 2002.1 disk!!

Thank you everyone so much

Thanks for the post. Took me three days to download but burned using Imgburn onto DVD+R and it worked in my 08 M3. There was a message to wait 5 minutes so went to work and then restarted car and it loaded.

You have a different nag system from what we have. You'll need to fine nav disc for MK III or IV. When I used to have E46M3, X5 forum was my source to find the nav iso file. So try there.

lots of people don't use the POI info.

btw I would have thought the easiest way to deal with red light cameras was not to run red lights which seems nucking futs to me.

I am also looking for someone who can help me out by burning me a disc, I do not have the ability to burn and will be leaving Germany in a couple of weeks. If anyone can help me out its for my 2003 325i which I pick up first. Before I ship off the M3 i'll have the dealer place the US maps in place. Please PM if anyone can help and of course with paypal info. TIA

Hi All,

I have a BMW 2005, M3 E46. I got the ISO file and burned it on a DVD, but when i put it in, it wouldn't work, it says "No CD/DVD navigation system in, Insert CD/DVD in".
Any help is well appreciated!
I used a DVD -R, burned it on a regular speed, and i checked the files, they are different from the Original 2005 Navigation DVD, the 2009 has some extra folders etc...

Thanks
