Looking for Part Numbers for Euro Bumpers ???

Hey all...

Im not finding what I need by search so I'll just ask it here.

Can anyone give me the part numbers for the 2008 e90 M3 Euro-spec front bumper with headlamp washing modules (but without front PDC) Time for a new bumper and might as well get the one I want.

Also where is a good source to purchase this wonderful item???

Thanks in advance...

They are expensive and take awhile to get here! Order a new US spec and have your local body shop paint it and fill the reflector holes for about half the price of a Euro spec.

The problem with filling them in such manner is the expansion of the material in the heat causing distortion.

I can get you the information you need...but you have to tell me whether or not you want to order one already painted from the factory?

Boy, must say I think RENN-Spec may have the market on these as I am not finding any other source. If their mark-up was not soo huge I would be buying, but 100%+ markup on a $700 OEM retail part is a bit too steep for my blood.

Let me clear this up. First of all, we barely make anything on this bumper. We only have this bumper because we know how it may be difficult to get these in the states. Also, included in the price is the OEM paint, and air freight from Germany directly which is another 500-600.

I am not putting RENN to blame for this. But for a primed only non factory painted bumper (which is what I need and was basing my #'s on) the overall costs are just a bit extreme. I always believe that profit should be made in transactions. But if it is such great overhead in getting these here then other ways might be more fortuitous to explore.

I do applaud RENN in just the fact that they can get them here.

Rennspec puts a lot of coordinated effort in to getting the factory painted bumpers. It's really difficult to get these out of Europe and in to the US because of the DOT regulations. Another thing to consider is the amount of money that goes in to the OEM's paint shop to get perfect paint finishes. Great bunch of guys over at Rennspec that stand behind their product through thick and thin. They also give you door-to-door terms and handle all the logistics, tricky customs clearance and duty. Talk to Simon or Gary; you won't be disappointed.

I agree with most everything above and for those who want a FACTORY PAINTED EURO BUMPER then the premium makes sense...

BUT....

For some one like myself who only wants a primed NON PAINTED bumper the total cost is hard to swallow especially since Top Name Aftermarket product makers have non painted options also coming to market.

This is nothing against RENN-Spec and I am in no way bashing them, I just feel that though their Factory Painted Euro bumpers may be a decent price considering that they are OEM painted in Germany, but for a simple non painted OEM bumper it is a bit of exaggerated price which I have been told comes mostly from the cost of air transport. I strongly feel that money should be made in transactions, its just unfortunate that currently delivery costs seem to make the price of an un-painted bumper a bit too exaggerated for my taste.

But I agree and thank RENN-Spec for figuring out how to bring the Euro Bumper into the US. They say you have to "Pay to Play" too bad the cost is a bit too rich for my blood (the story might be different if I was wanting a factory painted bumper as that added benefit justifies the overall cost to a degree)

How much are the painted Euro bumpers? I got a few Euro front bumpers for my e46 M3 from Simon and they were not too bad.

Soo true... My biggest concern on getting things painted for my car is if the shop can duplicate that terrible orange peel. You should see their faces when I have asked if they can give me orange peel. Pretty funny.
