Post #23 says the school put in several orders for the new car. That might be treated as an internal BMW transaction, and the price might have been on those papers.

I'd say the closer the source to BMW, the more credible it is, so unless you are associated with BMW, the instructor would be more credible than you are in my thinking...Regardless, $62k could still be false information somehow (maybe the instructor was pulling someone's leg or something).

Well according to the Military sales unit here..they are axpecting a 10% increase on the base..and they sold the M3 for about $44,000..so it's about right....wow this is gonna be a straight steal..so hell the drop top might be about 55,000 thru military sales not cheap, but sure not as bad as it will be in the states....well far as i'm concerned they deserve the break

Yep I have an order with Miliitary Sales for 49K and 57K optioned how I like and shipped to the US.

62K would be reasonable if the M3 comes standard with just about every option.

Mexico pricing only went up 10%, not anything near 20%+.
How much did Canadian pricing go up?

Talked to the dealer-owner in Military Car sales

It may not have all the options

but I believe $55K Base becasue the $49K Military price would be consistant
with 12% off. the deal they offer us

I will be driving one in September and at the launch in Frankfurt as I
have a Press Pass, then going to the Ring

BMW counts on option Ad-ons Look at the prices of 19s
Leather, Metallic, etc etc and you will be at $62 or more

My wifes 335 Vert came in at $48.8 Military and was 12 percent off
Ordered SPP ZPP CA and Metallic, that was 4K in options and no Premium, Ipod blue tooth or Nav

Same car is $66K EUROs in Germany

Have patience and dont order every option, your resale will
be much better with just a little planning

Dont worry

BMWAG...likes to give the Military sales heads up on % increases so their customers have an idea....remember military folk are unquie....and they have to get their vehicles on order..due to PSC moves (PERMANENT CHANGE OF STATION)...and it gives the the ability to write orders..so they can have their cars built or atleast in the pipe line..with Military families they can't afford to come from places around the world with a wife and kids and look for cars....lots of things have to be done..i should know I used to be a Marine..it aint like moving down the block, and trust me having a car waiting is a big plus....
