I'm planning to order GTS wheels for mine tomorrow... Should I do all 10's or stick with the 9's up front? I like the look of this but I'm curious if in the hands of a pro driver if there would be an adverse result.

You will like the square setup better if you track the car.

Square set up is far better from a performance aspect. So if thats what you are looking for, do the square setup.

Couple of questions from earlier.
And are you still not rubbing on full lock, low speed and 265/35/19 up front?

Looks great.

Have you had people in back? Did it rub if you did?

Thanks.

No rub at full lock, ever. Low speed, banking turns, dips, nothing in the front.

The rear, 3 people, absolutely full trunk, 4 hour drive to MFest, no issues.

The front will go to 275 soon. I need more rubber up front and in the rear.

Final setup will either be 275 all around, or 275 front, 285 rear. The car really likes the near squared dimensions.

Is this true: You only lost 0.1" of functional shock travel at the front .... at the same time you lowered the car 1" overall in the front ??

Have you driven an e9xm3 with the GC Kit yet?

Yes that is correct. Most shock travel was retained. And no, I have not been in a GC car and would love the opportunity. I have strongly considered this kit for its many advantages.

Do you have this kit?

My car is a 6-speed and it will always remain that way as long as they are around.

I still don't see the need for a square setup unless you are trying to fix a chassis setup or handling issue.

Square setup does have its benefits of being able to rotate your tires for longer tire life.

+1

For the E9x M3 there is so much torque at the rear wheels, so it is definitely advantageous to have the rear end grip when you are on the power out of corners.

For a track set up, I would do 10" F and 11" R. 10" F maximizes rubber in the front which reduces the inherent understeer. 11" R give you the rear end grip so that you can easily power out of corners.

A square set up does allow you to rotate the car better by reducing the rear tire sizes (less understeer), but it is at the expense of overall grip.

I understand your points, while they are valid to a degree, they are valid depending on your cars setup and suspension greatly as well.

Square setups have great benefits, and can have negative, just like a staggered setup.

PS, my car isn't squared.

Please explain how you measured better "performance" to conclude the H&R are better than Eibach.

Also, what did you use to determine that the H&R > ZCP > Eibach? Is this based on Auto-x or circuit lap times, slalom or skidpad numbers? Or, were you measuring "performance" in terms of ride quality?

It is probably subjective. As long as the car "feels" good to him, then all the mods are worth it.
