Car couldn't get any blacker! Still looks really good and some really clear shots. Interior looks better in those pics than most others I have seen.

Gorgeous, probably the only other color I would get besides AW. Just cant imagine trying to keep black looking nice....

LOL - I popped over here to post the pics and Epacy beat me to it!

The car is amazing, much prefer it than my '04 e46 m3.

Really Nice. Black does show the orange peel on picture 2 and especially picture 3. Lots of discussion on e90 forum about orange peel problems, particularly with Jet black. I am even now starting to notice it on BMW's silvers. BMW needs to put a little more R&D into their painting process.

I'm pretty much sold on Jerez now. To see it contrast from being SO black in the first pic, then have the hues in the other pics. It's just too interesting to pass up. While the black won't be the stunner that AW is, I feel it's coolness will last longer once you are well past the point of being use to it.

(Not to say AW is lacking in any way btw.)

Thanks for posting the pics. GOOD FIND!

Actually, I just found this pic from that other thread. It's a nice comparison of the Carbon Black vs. Jerez Black. They both look like they have a navy hue under those conditions.

That orange peel could be alot worse:

Ultimate, cool name by the way. Good find. This is the first time I have seen Jerez next to Carbon.

Hmmm...Yes, this is strange. I haven't seen this stuff before. My '04 325ci has none of it. Is it a recent issue? What do you do with something like that when you show up at the dealer to pick up your brand new M3?

What can you do? Won't they just say that is how the reflection is supposed to be?

Great find Epacy that black is so dark in some pictures. It looks awesome but SSII is still my color.
