i know the Xperia isnt as good when it comes to specs, but samsung phones are the worst. they are so effin slow and laggy. it pisses me the ---- off. sony ftw.

The sony ericsson W960i. its a normal phone, with all those features that the iPhone has, but with a bit more, sanity.

if u compare them, my phone rapes the iPhone. but consumers are all to stupid and easily fooled by media and commericals. suckers.

I will tell you what all those phones will lack in the very near future which may or may not be important depending on your usage and what is important to you...

All those phones will lack software support and new great applications that the iphone has coming its way. Apple has hundred of thousands of developers signed up to make applications you can either buy or get free to keep adding functionality to the phone. Unless all these other phones, in order to get the next generation of feature you will need to go out an buy a new phone because these companies failed to think past the generation.

Plus the user experience will always be the same not like you have to figure out how to use a new application or hardware like you do today on most of these phone.

How is your current phone BT performance in the e9x? Great, good, or bad? BT compatibility with e9x is very important to me...do share your experience.

no problems at all. heres a nice fact:

Sony Ericsson invented bluetooth, yes, thats right. SE invented that shit. SE phones have the fastest transfer rates, and the best signal strength and data clarity. supposedly their chips are no different, but they are just better.

I have absolutely no issues with my bluetooth and connecting to my E90. always loud and clear, no complaints. i know motorola phones give alot of trouble (according to my friend who works in motorola) with our cars.

sony ericsson makes great, reliable phones.

Thanks bud (no punt intended). I did not know SE invented BT. I have an old Motorola V330 phone and I have not had any major issues with the BT on my phone. It did not pair only one time right after I pair it the first time (never had this problem again). I don't use the phone that much but the time that I do use in the car, it is great!

Will keep the SE in mind when I shop for a new phone.

I have Tmobile plan if that makes a difference.

LOL. One thing your phone doesn't do that the iPhone does is multi-touch. Second, your phone can't watch YouTube (which is one button away). Third, you don't have third party support. My car supports iPhone docking (Charge/Music), the SE has no automotive support.

I've had three SE phones, they used to be my favorite (K800i, K800i, W900i) but to fix them I would have to ship them (Thank god the second K800i was a 30 day fix, but it broke a couple months later from the stupid camera latch). The iPhone, well thats easy. Walk into Apple store, done. And yes, I do spend quit a long time Customizing my shit

The graphical interface looks exactly like Windows 3.0 which was introduced in 1990. I bet the processor that runs this cell phone is weak so they have to substitute it wtih a simple, crappy, operating system.

im sorry, i would never purchase anything from apple. call me stubborn, call me arrogant, but i always hate fads and hypes. 95% of ppl with an iPhone have it because its the "in thing" to have.
