Did you get new wheels w/o TPMS installed? Any gauge will work, but I prefer the needle readout over the stick types. I'd just pick one up from Napa, Autozone, or whatever car parts store is in your area.
If you want to spluge, TR has a nice one that goes inline with the air compressor so you don't have to go back-and-forth from compressor to gauge. It's the "Psiclops XPRS" model. Allen

I use a Longacre, but I think it is around $50
The one you can buy at the BMW dealer is ok quality, and is less money. |

I'm looking for a high quality tire pressure gauge that I can just keep in the car. I've only own the stick type of gauge, but I'm not opposed to trying something different, any recommendations? Also kinda curious if digital ones are any good?

I just got the one from Amazon.com, like $15 or something like that for a digital one. Has worked great.

you're welcome.it was a little tricky at first using it.you have to push the chuck firmly onto the tire valve, and if it doesn't seat on there quite right the first time, just release, rotate it a little and push it back on.it's very handy because you can air up with your compressor through the gauge while it's still attached to the tire.

^This - Longacre tire gauges are great and very durable (withstand pretty much everything they'd be subjected at the track!). OG Racing carries their full line with the least expensive gauge starting around $23.

Don't forget intercomp.
This is what I have. Very accurate. I wish it had a angle chuck. http://www.amazon.com/INT-360060-Int...ords=intercomp

Those look similar to the $25 unit I picked up for my motorcycle:
http://www.cyclegear.com/CycleGear/T.../p/36751_46349 They also offer a military discount. Allen

I always over-fill the tires then use the bleed valve to fine-tune the pressure.
