I will give this a try......but I will order a full Oem shift knob assembly as a spare..... I always need to have the option to return to stock with my mods.

Nice upgrade

I just installed this piece using the DIYs from this forum. Very helpful, and quite easy to do. Thanks!

The feel is great, nice weight, really helps the feel.

The one that I got is much brighter and more red that the OEM shifter. If the brightness drives me nuts I'll look into cannibalizing the OEM knob to get the colours to match.

The ///M does light up on the one that I received from Spitzbube.

I received one from Spitzbub that had the M logo light up. All you had to do was ask

Use a rubber "O-Ring" instead of a zip-tie. Works perfectly and there is no connector.
