Get an E92 now. The next car won't be in your hands for years still.

The new FXX m3 will be out late 2014 or 2015 as far as I know. Get the last NA M car BMW has and enjoy the high rev of the engine. You will not get tired of listening to that engine!!!

If you can wait for another 2-3 years. Chances are 3 years.

I generally try not to by the first model year of a new car so they have time work the kinks out. So my advice (which I'm going to try to follow, myself) is to by the E9X M3 now and sell it for a 2nd or 3rd model year FXX M3 in 3-4 years.

F3x M3 wont be out until at the very earliest, fall 2014.

It will be a turbo car, and there will be some "kinks" that will likely be addressed after the 1st year's release (fuel pump, intercooler, etc, issues perhaps?), so the 2nd year model will be a wiser move.

if you can wait 3-4 years, then wait....if not, get it now and enjoy it for at least 4-5 years before getting the itch again.

Here is my honest opinion.

If you are interested in the new one, then wait. Test drive it or wait until the specs are released. If it isn't everything you have ever wanted and more, then buy an E92, they will be much cheaper from everyone turning in their leased 2011.5 ZCP's. You will be able to pick one up for under $55K. Then again, if you wait until 2013 for the M3 and it sucks, buy a 2012 GTR.
