M3 can compete in many areas with much more expensive machinery shows what a true bargain it is. |

Nice car. I always wondered why folks go from an M3 to a 2-seater. The main reason I bought my E92 M3 is because it can fit four people, otherwise I would have held onto my modified RX-7, which was faster, better performing, better looking, and cheaper
Also, why a V8? It's performance isn't much different from the M3, except for when you NEED the AWD. I'm going to come out with a new drink called V10, just so people like you could knock yourself on the head and say "Wow!, I coulda have a V10!" Joking aside, congrats on the car.

Let us know when you've lived with either of these cars. Until then you are limited to reviewing Jettas.

Beautiful car. By far one of my favorites. Pictures does not even do them justice.
Here are some pics of one race ready and one convertible Audi.

OP talked about his 'butt dyno' in relation to straight line speed of his old car compared to the R8 - so i posted up the vid Instead of posting pathetic catchphrases why dont you contribute something to the thread.

One doesn't have to hate ANY other car to appreciate his own. I hope you really enjoy that R8 and wish you well.
I think the R8 is an awesome looking car and in the "super car" category as I assess it. I'll say this about the M3 though, whenever I see a comparison where it loses, I can't help but think it's still very practical and doesn't lose by much, especially when factoring in the price. |
